As an experienced Electronics Consultant, you will create novel electronic solutions, often involving highly optimised custom designs needed for product launch and commercialisation. Typical life science projects are agile and multidisciplinary, involving close-knit teams of scientists and engineers. As an example, a typical system might involve high speed electronics, machine vision, FPGAs, low-noise analogue and data capture systems alongside biology, fluidics, actuators and optics.

Qualifications and Training
• A 1st or Upper 2nd class Electronic Engineering degree from a leading university.
Skills and Experience
We employ high-achieving Electronics Engineers with diverse backgrounds, but all successful applicants will have excellent academic qualifications, proven technical capabilities, and a strong commercial interest.
- Curiosity, imagination, initiative and creativity.
- Solid understanding of engineering fundamentals and physical principles beyond pure electronics.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- At least 3 years’ experience.
- Good low-level analysis and understanding of electronic circuits.
- Familiarity with ISO 13485 and regulated development processes (which could be from an unrelated industry, for example aerospace).
- Experience or potential for project-leadership would be a distinct advantage.
